Happy Mother's Day :-)

Aaron and I just wanted to wish each and every mother and mother-to-be a
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

And a special HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to my mom, grandma, godmother, aunts, and all the other wonderful women in my life that are also mothers. We love you!! And we want to remind you that we appreciate everything and all you do. Enjoy this day!

As I look back on my life
I find myself wondering...
Did I remember to thank you
for all that you have done for me?
For all of the times you were by my side
to help me celebrate my successes
and accept my defeats?
Or for teaching me the value of hard work,
good judgement, courage, and honesty?
I wonder if I've ever thanked you
for the simple things...
The laughter, smiles, and quiet times we've shared?
If I have forgotten to express my gratitude
For any of these things,
I am thanking you now...
and I am hoping that you've known all along,
how very much you are loved and appreciated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Here comes the Bride...

Aaron and I were both in one of my good friend's wedding this past weekend. I was a bridesmaid and Aaron's role was to hold the "Here comes the Bride" sign with another young boy. He looked so handsome in his gray suit with a lavender vest and bow tie! He did a really good job! So proud of him! I was a little nervous because sometimes he can be shy but we practiced and he did exactly as told. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Congrats KIM & RYAN!!! We love you and wish you a very happy and blessed future. Enjoy your honeymoon!

3yr Well Visit...ALL SMILES :-)

Aaron and I took a trip to visit his Pediatrician a few weeks ago for his 3 year old well visit. I was anxious to see how much my lil boy has grown since last year. I was SHOCKED!!! My lil munchkin had gained 8lbs!! I know that doesn't seem like A LOT! But did I mention he was a lil munchkin! :-) He also grew 4 1/2 inches!! And I believe he is still growing as I type this. All he wants to do is eat and sleep!! His Pediatrician was happy with his growth progression especially because he is now showing some solid results on the growth chart.

They checked his eyesight and that didn't go as planned. It was his first time doing a vision exam and he participated for all of 5 minutes. Overall, he doesn't seem to have any eyesight problem but the Pediatrician informed me that they would take a further look at his eyes when he turns 4 unless I see a reason to do so before then. He is scheduled for his 1st Dentist appointment next week! EEK!!! I think I'm more nervous for him then he may be for himself!! I"m crossing my fingers that everything goes well at that appointment but I will keep you posted!

The best thing about the 3 year old well visit...NO IMMUNIZATIONS!!! YES!!! We left the Pediatrician's Office with no tears and a sticker! It was a good visit :-)

Better late than NEVER!!!

Sorry for the hiatus!!! Life has been pretty busy the past few months! I started my masters degree program in January and it was a LOT to juggle! But I overcame that and I must admit I did VERY WELL!!! I get a short break and I'm back at it again! The program is 2 years which includes the summer months as well! So you can imagine how much free time I have these days. Despite my own personal adjustments with getting back into school, Aaron is doing GREAT!!! I try to do majority of my homework before class and during the evenings so that it doesn't take away from the time we spend together. Just because Mommy is in school doesn't mean Aaron has to suffer too. It's all about sacrifices! We make time for the things we want to make time for!
